Nevada is booming. Can the grid keep up?
Businesses, manufacturing, and technology companies are choosing Nevada. Now data centers are coming too. That’s good news.
It also raises a big question: where does all that power come from? Data centers run around the clock and need enormous amounts of reliable electricity. Get it wrong, and the grid Nevada families depend on feels the strain.
Two conversations. One answer.
Nuclear technology keeps advancing. States across the country are rethinking where their power comes from. Nevada can’t talk about data centers without talking about how to power them, and nuclear belongs at the center of that conversation.
